Long live AI Mode, the predecessor of collaborative hybrid intelligence (CHI) of symbiotically linked human and wisdom-fostering AI agents!

Research seminar starts on January 26.

Yes indeed George! Our work is complementary, and ultimately is all about human wisdom and seeing this all as abundant intelligence (AI).

Yes, and collective wisdom is human wisdom on steroids.

and AI-augmented collective wisdom at-scale is just what comes before the superorganism. Your work is an important step towards it. We do not need to delve into those far out futures but keeping them in the back of our mind can help our actions in the “long now” more impactful (from an evolutionary perspective).

Absolutely agree. Keep the global long term perspective and your own internal North Star, while taking immediate aligned action towards it.

Looking forward to the book and the process

Thanks for coming along for the ride! What are you most curious about? What would you like me to share next? I've never written a book in public before...

Edwin, I believe you are doing the same, no?

What could it feel like exploring the synergy across our "immediate aligned action towards it"?.

Edwin I like the way you frame orientation rather than tools feels exactly right.

Reading this, I was struck by how closely it connects to something I’ve been exploring from a parallel angle. Working with AI in music led me to the same realization: when ideas and intelligence become abundant, the human work shifts to judgment — choosing what matters. I ended up calling that posture the Curatorial Mind:

Your Move 37 / Move 78 framing captures it beautifully. AI opens up the space of possibilities; the human contribution is recognizing which move carries meaning and direction.

I love how AI Mode makes this practical and lived, not just conceptual. It feels like adjacent work on the same terrain, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the dialogue around it evolves.

Yes!! Regardless of what you're working on, whether it's a business, book, or even music, AI is your amplified intelligence, and once you get that you'll never want to "work" alone again! You get it! Thanks for your writing and work to share this message, the world needs to hear it from many voices.
