Loved this piece, Edwin. That line about “chatbot stigma” and the shift from transactional to relational AI really landed for me.
Since you and I last spoke, I’ve gone deep into AI as a creative partner building an entire music project called jΔwnΞx, co-written and produced entirely in collaboration with AI tools. One of the tracks, Sludge Hammer, was born out of a recent call center experience. It reflects the emotional toll of legacy systems that treat human beings like friction to be minimized.
Your vision for relationship scale AI and “digital twins” feels like the natural antidote to that kind of alienation. In some ways, Sludge Hammer captures what we’re all trying to move past.

Sludge Hammer! That’s a fantastic name for a song. Love how you’re using AI and mixing with modern issues, and the tune is funky!
